About Us
ECC PH is a non-profit organization working alongside churches, church associations, and organizations focusing on church multiplication, disciple-making, and leader development.
VISION
Churches planted in every community planted in every community—sitio, purok, zone, villages, campuses, offices, etc. so that everyone will have the opportunity to hear, understand, and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
MISSION
To work alongside churches, ministry partners, and organizations by providing vision casting, training, coaching, prayer support, encouragement and accountability in the area of disciple-making, church multiplication and leadership training
HISTORY
Every Community for Christ (ECC) is the church multiplication catalyst for One Mission Society, serving through biblically based teams in more than 50 countries. We work in deep partnership with local denominations and church associations to ignite church planting movements—cultivating healthy, growing churches that naturally multiply.
These joint ventures are firmly committed to training the trainers in 12 core church multiplication principles across the 4 vital levels of church planting:
Pioneer Evangelism
Church Planting
Church Multiplication
Saturation Church Planting
In the Philippines, ECC partners with local churches, denominations, organizations, and ministerial associations. Our heartbeat is Train and Multiply (T&M)—a dynamic method used for leadership training and rapid church multiplication.
Our history runs deep. Beginning in the 1980s, ECC worked exclusively with one denomination, the Faith Evangelical Church of the Philippines (FECPI), planting churches to strengthen their network.
However, the early 2000s brought a holy discontent. As ECC explored the vast potential of church planting movements, a bigger vision took hold: to plant churches throughout the entire Philippine archipelago. This vision was simply too massive for just one denomination to carry alone. Seeing the immense need of under-resourced churches across various provinces, ECC proposed a beautiful shift—sharing our resources, training, and tools beyond FECPI to foster and empower other churches nationwide.
In 2013, ECC took a strategic leap forward, launching systematic training for its paid workers in T&M Launch and Develop, basic coaching, and interactive adult learning design and facilitation.
The results have been transformative. Today, we have grown to the fourth generation of T&M trainers. By empowering the body of Christ, we have successfully scaled up to over 120 passionately active lay leaders while intentionally reducing our reliance on full-time paid staff.
Through this movement, we have developed a thriving Value Adding Network (VAN), partnering with diverse churches and denominations to provide T&M training and help them expand their own networks.
ECC currently boasts a strong ministry presence in four critical geographical areas: Tarlac, Pangasinan, Leyte, and West Samar.
Our model is proven in the crucible of crisis. After Typhoon Yolanda devastated Tacloban in November 2013, ECC immediately deployed a team to aid in recovery. In less than three years, that response blossomed into:
11 new worshipping groups
14 trained lay leaders
5 qualified T&M trainers
Beyond local communities, our impact reaches the next generation and the global stage:
Campus Ministry: We sustain a vibrant student ministry at Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, developing student group leaders into the 3rd and 4th generations, while aggressively expanding into other campuses within our target areas.
Global Coaching: Our influence extends beyond borders, as we actively train and coach ministry leaders in Israel and Malaysia.
Officially registered as a legal entity under the Securities and Exchange Commission in October 2018, ECC in the Philippines is fully equipped, mature, and positioned for the future. We are ready to launch a massive saturation project across our five targeted provinces, pushing forward through the strategic streams of student ministries and overseas foreign workers (OFWs).
Together, we aren’t just building churches—we are fueling a movement.
CORE VALUES
Coaching Values
Our values are our beliefs. They are the rationale for our decisions, the passions we live for, and the explanation for why we make the choices we do.
Biblical Coaching Values direct the heart and perspective of the coach; they are part of our being as coach. When we embrace the Coaching Values, the way we work with others will change.
Below is a list of ten fundamental Biblical Coaching Values. Our coaching skills will flow out of these values.
Believing in People
Like Jesus’ belief in us, the unconditional belief of a coach unleashes the power of God for change in the coachee’s life. Therefore, coaching uses listening, asking questions, and keeping the coachee responsible instead of advice-giving; because these disciplines are practical ways to show belief in another person. (2 Corinthians 5:16-17)
God Initiates Change
God is the sovereign initiator of our growth, setting the agenda and motivating us to move forward through the real events in our lives. Change starts with God’s action. Therefore, a coach waits to see what God is doing in the coachee’s life before engaging it, instead of trying to push a change agenda on the coachee. (John 5:19)
Leaders Take Responsibility
Coaches develop leaders by keeping them responsible and allowing them to solve their own problems. Taking responsibility for others stunts their growth. Therefore, a coach diligently allows the coachee to choose agendas, goals, solutions, and action steps instead of arranging them for the coachee. (Hebrews 5:14)
Transformation Happens Experientially
The things that most deeply shape us happen through our experiences and relationships, not by accumulating information. Therefore, transformational coaching focuses on engaging the teachable moments of life in the context of a transparent coaching relationship to produce lasting change. (Job 42:5-6)
Learning from Life
Life is an ongoing development process individually designed by God for our growth. Coaching works because it takes seriously what life brings as God’s agenda for change. Therefore, coaches listen intently and intuitively, because each incident in the coachee’s life is meaningful and important. (Romans 8:28)
Ministry Flows Out of Being
Ultimately behavior comes out of character. What we do is a function of who we are. Identity, character, and destiny issues hold great potential for transformation. Therefore, transformational coaching concentrates on changing what you do by changing who you are. ((Luke 6:45)
Learning Community
Maximized growth and destiny fulfillment are only possible within an interdependent learning community. Coaching provides the relational context we need to go farthest and reach highest. Therefore, coaches intentionally invest in the relationship as a vital part of the change process. (Proverbs 27:17)
Authentic Relationships
Transparent relationships free us from secret sins and hidden fears that tie us down and give God access to our lives in a deeper way. Therefore, coaches intentionally foster an authentic atmosphere because of its intrinsic power to open us to God’s work in our lives. (2 Corinthians 6:11-13)
Own-Life Stewardships
God has entrusted to each person the stewardship of his or her own life. We are individually responsible for our choices and for fulfilling our God-given destiny. Coaches never take freedom of choice away by telling the coachee what to do, because free will is a gift from God. (Romans 14:12, Romans 11:29)
Each Person is Unique
Each person is a uniquely valuable individual with a distinctive gifting, history, and call. Coaching is an individualized process, because people are individuals. Therefore, coaching follows the coachee’s discernment and uses the coachee’s solutions, because what worked for one individual may not work for another. (1 Corinthians 12:17-20)
